Algeri should be disqualified for running all night. It would be faster if he was not running and fought toe to toe

Then ESB would be left with only 15 posters & 4 mods...Not enough Indians and too many Chiefs then...!!!

I agree to a point. I still think Pac would have beat him regardless, but yeah the 1st knockdown was a clear slip. I still think Algieri's gamelan was good. They definitely weren't giving him the fight in China. His only chance was to either knock him out or win on cut stoppage.

The ref probably knew that if he showed any firmness towards Manny, there would be repercussions.

Pac looked good but he still is reckless, just not as reckless as he used to before the knockout to JMM.

I enjoyed the card tonight overall though.

Like Bradley, Algieri's team thinks the only way to beat Pac is to knock him out.

Very true. You box, you'll be peppered with punches. You time him out, you'll lose with a lopsided decision.

Are you upset about the referee not stopping a clearly stop-worthy fight?

First Chris got a long count plus when he got up his legs were shaky.

Then on the second knockdown in the 9th he got up and fell into the ring post the ref should have waved the fight off

All the knock downs were legit. You don't just get to run back and take a knee because you are scared of being hit.

If this wasn't stop worthy then neither was Mayweather-Corrales.

    Same kind of fights really.

I'm surprised they kept it going after that long count. Algieri was barely back on his feet and dazed from that sweet Tim-Lane-Mouth-Shutting-Cage-Closing punch.

I think Chris would have won, but he had a problem with the lock on his cage.
