Q showed us while he was well hyped after his schooling of Joel Julio....I'm proud of him he put forth an excellent fight with big Paul and has a nice trinket around his waste. But what I found absolutely hilarious was when Max Kellerman mentioned a Cotto rematch and Carlos face said.... This content is protected
At the end of the post fight press conference Dibella said "If Paul wants a rematch we'll give him one. He gave us our chance and we will give him a chance for redemption." I'm not to sure Paul wants it..as for Cotto I don't think Quintana wants it....yet...I'm predicting a Williams-Quintana2 by the years end with a fight in between for both fighters
Quintana doesnt want Cotto again. Cotto is too fast and strong for Quintana. He even said it after their fight.
Quintana will look to fight anybody but Cotto. He'll only face Cotto if he has to. And I can't say I blame him.
Yeah why didnt the translator translate this ? I heard him say it in Spanish but, the translator ignored it
:rofl:rofl:rofl Q was thinkin '**** that, give me my belt and lets get the hell outta here.':rofl:rofl
If you look at the guys in Q's enterage knew english and was sayin 'oh no we don't want cotto again.':rofl
I'm sure deep down inside Q would sign to fight Cotto, redemption is sweet and the ultimate confidence booster....I'm thinking Q just wanted to enjoy his moment and then think about the mini tank that is Cotto.
I'm not to sure mate....rehydrating almost 20 pounds overnight tells me Williams is a borderline anorexic before a fight...not good...not healthy.....Sort of like Lacy who walks around above 200 and somehow manages to make 168....I don't get why they torture themselves...it only hurts their performance.....Williams should move up to 154 he would probably dominate that weight if he's healthy
Well now that I think about it if its true that Paul has difficulty making weight then the results of the first match should resemble any rematch at 147lbs.
Max mentioned Cotto to him and I think Quintana understood him cause he then smiled somewhat uncomfertablly and shrug his shoulders.
I don't think there is a fighter in the world who doesn't want to get back at the guy who knocked him out. He might be like JMM biding his time and sharpening his skills until he's ready, but he'll want it. It's human nature, and definately boxer's nature. Especially if you just won a championship fight. Personally, I'd rather see Judah/Cotto 2. Though I think Cotto would have won anyway, I know many boxing fans are wondering how the fight would have gone had Judah not gotten punched in the balls twice by ****en' Miguel Cotto!
