Dirrell's all risk, no reward. Dirrell is much faster than Kessler, both hands and feet, and has much more natural talent. Kessler would have to KO Dirrell, which could very well happen. But it would be a risky fight, where Kessler could get outboxed like Froch - but not have the luxury of a hometown robbery to rely on. Can't see this fight happening.

Direll is a mental *****, but his style would cause this 2012 version of Kessler big problems. Dirrell is to fast, to slick and would outpoint Kessler from the distance. But Kessler could catch Dirrell in the later rounds and take him out!

Froch is an awkward fighter, he doesn't have the textbook european upright stance like Kessler.

He dropped AA and he hurt Froch.

It would most certainly be an interesting fight depending on where the bout is fought. If they choose to fight at 175lbs it might work in Kessler's favor versus fighting at 168lbs.

Although I'd favor Andre Dirrell I think Kessler has the type of style that would trouble Dirrell and force him to fight on the inside and in close quarters.

Stylistically, slick-speedy Boxers have always been able to beat those upright European styles, but with Dirrell out of the loop for so long who knows what type of conditioning he's in.

I know this much; if Dirrell thinks love-taps and running from exchanges is enough to get the nod on the cards he's sadly mistaken. Hopefully, the Carl Froch fight has taught him a little better than that.

True.. But Kessler has a tighter defense and a better, more precise, powerful and efficient offense..

It was more of a push than an actual knockdown.. He hurt Froch's yes, but far from knocked him out, nevermind knocking him out..

Agreed but Kessler being more textbook would make it an easier fight for Dirrell. He'll have an easier time figuring out Kessler's rhythm (or lack thereof ) and the angle of his punches.

Same can be said for Kessler. If you had to compare both performances Dirrell did much better against Froch.

The fight would create an interest but Dirrell hasnt done anything to deserve that fight.

    Kessler has beaten -
    Siaca WBA SMW champ
    Beyer WBC SMW champ
Mundine who became WBA SMW champ after Kessler beat him
Sartison who became WBA SMW champ after Kessler beat him
Froch WBC SMW champ and who became WBC SMW champ after Kessler beat him
Then there is former SMW world champs in Thobela and Lucas and a win over undefeated Andrade who beat Steiglitz

    Dirrell has -
    A DQ win over Abraham
    beat Oganov
They seem like his two biggest SMW wins and neither really look good.

I think now though Kessler looks a shell of himself and there for the taking. I think Steiglitz may have beaten him after seeing him against Green.

I think the fight for Kessler could be a rematch with Froch (if they want to put themselves through that again) as Froch is slow with a low workrate and has dipped alot over the years himself. It would be a big pay day for both and I think Kessler would win easier this time

I dont know why Dirrell gets so highly rated, he hasnt done anything at SMW yet.

Dirrell is probably on steroids... ****ing Team Slick and Black should be hiding their asses now. Kessler by stoppage, Dirrell is a disgraceful ****.
