How come there hasn't been any mention of Cotto as the Golden Boy's final opponent now that the Pac talks have apparently broken down? Supposedly he's now talking with Mora's people but I just can't see "The Golden Boy" finishing his career by fighting 2 "Contenders" back to back. We all know he wants no part of Margarito. So why not Cotto? He still probably the most marketable name in the welter weight division and we all now know he's beatable.

    Lets get it on! :bbb

I have a feeling they will either bring Mosley in or JCC Jr.
Actualy JCC Jr. would probably do better than most people he gets matched up with...

I'd love to see him beat Trinidad, But Tito loves his fat too much. Seeing him fight Mosley one last time in LA would be sick, too, they are both winding down, and I want to see DLH (officially) avenge either loss. Unfortunately neither will happen-count on that.

. . . because Cotto has just lost.

    Does that makes sense? :D

I would love to see Cotto v Delahoya. I reckon Cotto would take it.

Not enough to not fight him when his possible opponent list is so limited. Who do you propose is a realistic opponent for Hoya? Yes, had Cotto beaten or gotten a draw against Margarito he probably would be fighting Oscar, but why should he be discounted after losing in a hard nosed and entertaining fight? Its not his fault that Margarito doesn't feel pain. The point is the effort he put forth against a P4P great opponent should be enough to allow his name to be in the discussion.

Limited or not . . . Mora is a title holder who just beat the guy that DLH doesn't want to fight. He is a title holder and can bring more luster in DLH's end career fight.

No matter how good Cotto is . . . it will be in the books that he just lost a fight before he fought DLH.

"The books" will also say that Cotto was a 2 division champion and amongst the P4P best. And I couldn't disagree with you more about a fight against Mora bringing in more luster. "The Books" will say his claim to fame is winning a reality tv show and beating a shot Vernon Forrest. Nobody in their right mind wants to see the boring Mora who has no power win the Dela Hoya sweepstakes. :nono

Oh now I see it clearly . . . it's either you hate Mora or you're carrying Cotto's jockstrap. Clear your head and think logically. :D

Cotto may have been a three or four divisional champ for all I care . . . but he got totally wrecked in his last fight. And DLH swear to high heavens he won't fight Margarito, the guy who beat up Cotto . . . then you're saying he should be fighting the guy who lost to Margarito? How good was that?

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Mora fought at the higher weights and almost as big as DLH . . . so I can assure Mora despite not being a bigger name could humilate and spoil DLH's party.

This is the real fight . . . not a farce fight like the Pac/DLH bull****. :deal

The only fight that makes sense IMO is Margo. He's on top of the WW division and his last win was against Cotto, who was/is on most people's p4p lists.

this fight is very possible, cotto wants to fight in December and ummm DLH last fight is in December... everyone loses and has a bad night... cotto still fought margarito very well and just stuck to one game plan.. you learn from this and become better experience... people are forgetting hes only 27 yrs old and only been doing this for almost 8 years.. who else at this age and short amount has reach the elevation cotto brought to boxing?

Everybody knows that . . . but Oscar already clearly stated he won't fight Margo.

Is there anything we can do? :D
