No way would Pavlik even have time to prepare given the short fuse.

Froch vs Groves as a stay busy fight. Makes good money in UK.

    This.

Even Booradley doesn't support him anymore these days. That tells you something ...

I dont care about who's your talking about, IF in loosing a "stay busy fight" Froch loose his opportunity to fight Ward, I dont see Froch taking the hardest fight. It is a business decision and I will never critize Froch, or anyone for doing so.

Of course, IF showtime gives the guaranty to Froch that whatever happen in is "stay busy fight" Froch keep is spot (as he should), he can then take the biggest fight (for money and/or for "legacy" as he choose) out there.

To understand what your saying: out of 10 fights, Froch wins 10 fights against Bute?

If so, I disagree with you. I think it would be a very hard fight for both boxer and as a Bute fan I favor Bute, but I'm not saying that Froch cant beat Bute, theres a big difference there.

And Froch has said he don't want to have any easy fights:

"I'm here for a legacy, I dont mess about."

He's not going to take the Bute-route even for one fight.

So you saying that in the hypothesis of a loss in a stay busy fight he loose the opportunity to face Ward and be the S6 winner, it will not hurt his legacy?

I do think that if for whatever reason Froch is not fighting the final of the S6, it will indeed hurt his legacy and if Froch agree with me, he will not make decision that might endanger his road for legacy.

I dont think that there's a fight out there right now that will improve his legacy more than the S6 title and so, I think he should do what's best to reach this goal until then. Of course you could argue that a fight with Bute or a rematch with Kessler is better for him (right now) that a fight with Ward for the S6 title, but that's just opinion, your is as good as mine.

let's say froch fights bute before ward and he loses.how will that reflect on super6 and its yet to come final? even if he wants to fight bute now showtime will say no way,go fart somewhere else
