Pavlik is irrelevant , he will never be a named fighter ever again , sounds harsh but its the truth , a fight with Froch makes sense but it wont happen , a) Pavlik wouldnt be ready and b) Arum would not risk his fighter with Froch for the pittance he would receive in comparision to other deals / fighters he could match Pavlik with

In summary , Pavlik has one big fight left , after that he's cooked :deal

Exactly. I wish for Froch to make a good fight with a good opponent because I want to see a fight like this. But, I dont want him to loose the opportunity to fight Ward in doing so.

What does it matter, Pavlik would get utterly trashed by Froch and we already know it.

Froch probably has better sparring partners than that, as a matter of fact I know he does (Groves,Pascal amongst others)

and you all forget kelly doesn't fight for peanuts.i don't think froch can afford kelly, maybe a fight with mayweather is what kelly wants.the winner is the last man standing..around the table.

Froch was getting schooled by Taylor before he was fortuante to get the knock out in the dying seconds.

Schooled is a bit overwhelming, don't you think?

It was even on the scorecards after the first KD, but I guess your definition of schooled is disturbed. I'm a huge JT fan, mind you.

And besides, what does that matter? It was Carl's first big fight away from his home, he was defending his belt in enemy territory. And to make your point even worse, JT "schooled" Bernard Hopkins in their second outing, and look what Bernard did to Pavlik.

To top it off, Pavlik is a drunk bozo and hasn't shown any finesse since 2007, where he had to use superior will against fighters coming to him. Carl Froch can outbox him, outslug him, and in my mind.. knock him spark out.

There's a vast difference in class these days, Pavlik has thrown everything in the bin.

Problem with Hopkins was Pavlik could not hit him clean. Froch is not that hard to hit and you just can't get hit by Pavlik and expect to go 12 rounds. Has the heaviest hands that I have ever seen. Sure Pavlik has a couple losses but Froch should have 3 losses.

I also can't think of many boxers that would have beat the version of Hopkins that Pavlik faced, he was a insain beast that night. And without the cut Pavlik would have beat Sergio, but do you think anyone would be calling Pavlik p4p number 3 in the world if he had of beat Sergio? Yet Sergio seems to be rated pretty high for beating Pavlik. The circle of double standards countinue.
