How about if Lewis had fought Holyfield and Bowe had face Ruddock in 92?

Rock Newman takes a chance against a big hitter and Ruddock and Bowe square off. Two weeks later, Lennox Lewis challenges Holyfield. How does this pan out for the next couple of years?

I think Holyfield at that time would have possibly stopped Lewis, he was a completely different animal back then. Bowe would beat Ruddock imo.

Ruddockv bowe would have been a cracking film I believe. I don't think razor would have gone out in two rounds like he did against Lewis. Both men would have been slugging each other. But I think bowe would have with stood razors punches better and can see bowe stopping razor round about the sixth round after giving bowe hell. I believe lennox would have had just enough to defeat holy field but it would have been a wafer thin majority decision with both men struggling and both men's faces swollen. Slightly to Lewis.

I'd still pick Lewis. It would be a tall order for Holyfield who couldn't one shot him like Rahman.

Bowe-Ruddock would be a sloppy war. Edge to Bowe.

Holyfield would outwork Lewis and win a decision, let us not forget this Lewis is not the monster he'd become. This Lewis was being badly outboxed by Frank Bruno before landing the homerun shot which Frank always managed to run into against almost everyone at some point. He was also taken 10 against Levi Billups and didn't look great, this one was more robotic and wasn't completely polished like the later version which fought under Steward. He'd buzz Holyfield a few times but he'd spend to much time posing and not firing enough to outwork the younger much more active Holyfield, this isn't the old man that fought in spurts that hed fight many years later, this was prime Evander..

Ruddock vs Bowe this would've been a war!! Bowe doesn't possess that one shot power like Lennox so he's not going to ice Razor with one punch which is essentially what Lennox did to him, Ruddock never recovered from that first round laser, good god who could!! This fight would be fought in the trenches, it would've been a great one. Bowe was vulnerable to a left hook, the light hitting Tyrell Biggs rocked him with a left hook in their fight. So Razor could hurt him, Bowe knew this as they had sparred together which is why Bowe was on record as saying he thought Razor would destroy Lewis. This would be a rough affair but I'd expect Bowe to eventually grind Ruddock down and stop him late. Bowe was much better on the inside and his body work and uppercuts would eventually do Ruddock in, I'll take Bowe tko10!!
