It's more logical that Darchinyan goes up to 118 first before going straight up to 122 to fight Izzy. Penaloza is an aging fighter but his accuracy is still there . . . never been KOed in his 55 PRO fights. How do you people see this turning up . . . if it happens.
No way this fight will ever happen cause Gerry is going to be forced to retire after Juanma is done with him!
I see darch punching gloves and air. Gerry maybe a grump but he easily takes vic to a boxing clinic. Vic's punches will look like slow motions against gerry.
Vic is Taylor made for Penaloza because he is flat footed . . . take note that Gerry has 6 loses, 4 of which are SD loses against opponents who are "riding their bikes", opponents who never wanted to trade. He lost a UD against Ponce but not after he repeatedly sent Ponce backing up due to solid head punches. If only you people can watch how Penaloza sneak in punches and made a target practice of Ponce De Leon's head . . . maybe you people will give Gerry some respect. The result was crap. UD my ass. Jhonny Gonzales whom Gerry has KOed via body punch is 5'7 1/2" . . . Vic is only 5'5 1/2. It's gonna be be a good war.
SO Penalosa who has taken punches from De Leon and who is a much better tactician than Donaire would lose by KO to Darchinyan? They guy may be old and past his prime but its not like he relied too much on his natural athletic abilities to wins fights. Penalosa by UD. And yeah, those four losses to Tokuyama and Choo were not exactly due to them pressuring him and breaking him down... those were very close losses on their home turfs.
