Gerry by Ko. Bigger man wins. Darth is only good if his opponenets fears his punches. Gerry won't be running scared.

 

gerry might lose this fight but not by ko. he's a very tough guy even at this stage

 

Vic by UD..Penaloza is a great test for Vic however and i wouldn't be surprised if he beat him at all...with that said if Vic beats Penaloza and fights Izzy than Izzy by ko in 5

 

People downside Gerry fast. Gerry has never lost via KO, He may be old but he freaking KOd a lot of young fighters.
Gerry is far greater technical than Donaire, Gerry loses are from shortage of scoring(he didn't manage to win enough rounds) or home turf decision(go watch his fight before criticizing).

it would be a big win if penalosa would beat lopez in puerto rico..a win would demand him to fight vasquez or marquez...

it's tough but gerry is in the best shape of his life. he has no vices and trains hard. but still, he doesnt have the speed. hope he can overcome his lack of lateral and head movement in the lopez fight.

as for darchinyan, Boom! shot to the body and VD is out...

gerry has never lost via kd. workrate, sure vd will probably win hands down being the younger man.

but if he recklessly fights against gerry and goes straight, he will be eating a lot of leather all night. ponce de leon was the much bigger man and he ran from getty all fight long.

Vic could win this fight but he needs to outbox the more technical Penaloza. See, Just watch most of his recent bouts where fighters tend to fight toe to toe with him and where they end up.
Vic just needs to keep away from Gerry and find lots of opening to slow him down and even win by KO.

 

Nah! i dont think he would go for that.. no disrespect to Gerry . he"s a High Risk Low Reward( in terms of Monetary) fighter like Marquez and Winky Wright before they became draws...Darchinyan's style is tailor made for Gerry. if you make Gerry come straight to you, you might have a chance because he's not a pressure fighter but i you go after him, the fight is in the bag for him. Penalosa is a veteran and an excellent counter puncher with a very good defence. And he takes good body punches well and hits hard hooks, watch the De Leon fight..When he found that out he rode the bike in the second part of the fight and retained his title

Yes that's what Gerry main weakness are. Fighters who tend to go backwards. Gerry isn't a good chaser.
