How absolutely unbelievable would it be if Lennox saw a flaw in Vitali and came back?

I love seeing people make excuses for Lennox when he was outfought and boxed by Vitali. Actions speak louder than words, and I think we all know why Lennox retired.

I don't remember him being out fought or outboxed. All I remember is lewis slightly out of his comfort zone but in no trouble in the early rounds followed by lewis smashing up Vitalis eye forcing the stop. History will only remember Lewis TKO 6. Mercer put up a better fight against Lewis than Vitali.

Yeah, it's obvious this guy was outfighting and outboxing his opponent.

That's why they stopped it half way through.

What part of 'Lewis TKO6 Klitschko' don't some people understand?

LEWIS BEAT THE **** OUT OF VITALI
    - plain and simple.

Not sure why people have such a hard time accepting it. Vitali lost to the better man, end of story.

I also don't understand Vitali nut-huggers are so resentful towards the loss.... Lewis is an ATG. There's no shame in losing to him.

He's argubly the best heavyweight fighter of the last 25 years and he's beaten every single man he's ever faced.

People can say what they want. Vitali will never ever ever ever ever ever be as good as Lewis. Lewis is on a different planet.

Accept it guys - it's the truth.

Why the hell would he need to see a flaw, he beat him the first time you ****ing idiot.

Lennox was clearly getting the upper hand in the last couple of rounds and would off stopped Vitali later in the fight.

Some of you Klit fans are just thick as ****.

Lewis won but he looked more relieved that the ref stopped it. He was losing onthe cards. Nobody knows what would have happened if the ref said, Okay you got one more round Vitali. Lewis, Vitali, you or me. No one knows what would have happened in the rematch.

And if Lewis clearly and convincingly wonthe fight why was he booed out of the arena as he exited the ring for the final time of his career?

Think about that Vitaly klit and his resume sucks and was stopped by old, fat, shot, totally unmotivated Lennox but still managed to RETIRE my man Lennox for good and made Lennox eat his words about promised re-match...:think:deal

    How's that sound?:yep

Well, Vitaly was basically given 3 extra rounds after the cut opened. Everyone in his corner would have known it wasn't going to go 12 with a cut like that, especially as Lewis zeroed in on it. So Vit was given basically 3 rounds to stop Lewis, and couldn't.

How would one more round make a difference, especially after he was sucking up some major punishment in round 6? It would have been different if it had been Lewis taking those uppercuts, but it wasn't.

I would say if the roles had been reversed in that round, it wouldn't have been stopped. But when a guy has that much damage, is taking some huge punches without really punching back, and is grabbing on to the other bloke to stay upright, the fights over.

Vit could (should?) have stopped Lewis in Rd 2, but didn't.
Vit should have known in 4, 5 & 6 that he had to stop lewis quickly to win. He couldn't. And it wasn't as though Lewis was staying away to last the 12, he was walking through Vitalys punches to land his own.

Vitali has been trying to get Lewis back into a right for years now. He wants that fight more than anything. Vitali by knockout.
