i was re-watching morales vs maidana today and near the end of the round the punchstat box comes up in the corner and it carries on counting everytime a punch lands
but i seen at a point morales land 4 hooks on the inside to maidanas chin and the puncstat thing only recorded one
so how accurate is it really?
ps i dont believe in looking at punch stats to say who won the fight because you can win a round only landing a few shots more and thenlose around getting hit alot more and it would still be 10-9 this is just a question on the technology

Punch stats are only as accurate as the boxers throwing the punches :deal

    Hit and miss.

Mostly a gimmick. Certainly no sure fire way to score a round, and people who use them to try and prove some quasi-******ed point...

I think compubox is at the very least, relatively accurate. Definitely not as off the mark as people make it out to be...

...Olympic scoring, however...yeesh. I've seen punches land clean upside a guy's head, and no points are scored.
