in article he says that you must not be nervous, because if your opponent is not nervous, he would be relaxed and bash you.. examples are his students who weren`t nervous and won, but i think thats rare for somebody who has a fight for the first time to be normal and relaxed.. its a good read, he didn`t write anything bad

and he wrote that reason for being nervous is "not doing hard enough". I am little bit too critical to my self, so i will always think that there is a lot of space to learn and know, so that depends from person to person.

Apparently these are the only two reasons to be nervous. To be blunt, the guy is ******ed. It's human nature to be nervous when you're going to fight infront of a few to maybe thousands of people where you could get embarrassed, KO'd or even killed (unlikely I know).

Whatever bull**** the pros say, even they get nervous, I guarantee it.

being completely hoinest i wasnt nervous before my first fight. i felt quite relaxed. then another lad from my club got koed in the first round and i was completely calm as i felt i couldnt do any worse than he had done. what little nerves i had disappeared. my coach was even worried as he could see how how chilled out i was. i won with the ref stpping the fight in the second. i think mybe i didnt appreciate the seriousmess of what i was doing. i was cool as **** before my second fight too but then got the **** kicked ourt of me (koed in 3rd). from then on i got nervous before fights haha!!!

Well, i never was that nervous.. very calm and relaxed and very confident. The ring is like home sweet home. I obviously feel a bit nervous but i use that to my advantage

Eh, some of his articles aren't bad but this was far from his best. Truth of the matter is almost everyone is nervous in their fight, no matter how many times they step in the ring. You just have to channel it the right way.

Oddly, I wasn't nervous in my first fight. That morning when I woke up I definitely had nerves, it was like 'holy **** I'm fighting today." But it wasn't that bad most of the day and when I was warming up and walking to the ring I didn't really feel it.

"I can only think of 2 real reasons why people get nervous before fights. One is you didn’t train hard enough. If you slacked off in training, don’t ask for a victory. The other reason for being nervous is that you don’t actually enjoy fighting."

Or you're about to fight someone who's trained in boxing, and you're probably doing it in front of an audience.
