Ortiz is taller, stronger, longer reach, SOUTHPAW, excellent stamina, relentless, good chin, hes put every one of his opponents on the floor and hes been in some heavy fights. Hes also not an old, shot man.

Lets be honest, if you would have seen these stats before the fight was made you would have said Floyd would never pick Ortiz :deal

He made a lot of mistakes fighting against Berto. He's going to make more against Floyd Mayweather then Floyd will start taking the advantage.

Ortiz is easy to hit and has only been 12 rounds once in his whole career. He was put on the backfoot by Nate Campbell and looked lost against Peterson. He also was getting hit by hayemakers from the slow handed Maidana and hit the deck twice against Berto.

Mayweather on the other hand is one of the most intelligent and experienced fighters in the sport and is also more accustomed to fighting at 147 than Ortiz is.

Ortiz drew with Lamont Peterson, hell he lost a majority of the rounds, and he traded Knockdowns with Andre Berto.

His best win is a close win over Andre Berto. Other notable fights include a loss to Maidana and a draw against Lamont Peterson.

This is going to be a wipeout barring the obligatory punchers chance.

Mayweather wins at least 10 rounds. That's if Ortiz doesn't quit when he's already lost the fight on the cards by the halfway mark and frustrated at not being able to hit Mayweather.

Mayweather is a level above in ability, far smarter and more experienced. Ortiz is easy to hit and offensive brings nothing that Mayweather hasn't seen before. He'll coast this as everybody expects.

Teacher vs. student. No fight is easy, but Ortiz doesnt pose a real threat to Mayweather. He has a punchers chance, but thats about it.

he had a mediocre career at 140, wasn't even ranked top 10 and had a poor performance before moving up against a slick black fighter. his one win against Berto at welter doesn't make him a great fighter. Where is Luis Collazo now?

I think he has a chance, Floyd is getting old, who knows what will happen if Ortiz connects cleanly. Mosley had PBF in all sorts of trouble, till he gassed in 2nd round.

I love the way everyone ignores the fact that Floyd has been out of boxing for over a year. You just cant find it in you to show him some credit for making this fight.

I cant say im surprised. I mean most people listed above have Pacquiao avatars. I suppose Pac vs Marquez @ 144 is a good challenge for Pacquiao?

Ortiz lacks defense and can be chinny, lacks ring IQ, and still has questionable mind/heart. No to mention he has stamina issues. There was a reason why he was picked as the comeback fight. Fight a young guy who looked good in his last fight (who really looked like crap in his previous past three) and people will say its a dangerous fight, what the heck is Floyd thinking, he must be jumping off a cliff.
