An excellent cruiserweight at that in Steve Cunningham.

People are still doing that thing that they do with Mike Tyson.

If he fights on exactly the 28th November 2015, and the air temperature is exactly 17.2c, with a light westerly breeze outside of 3mph, then he might, he might win the fight. They want to pinpoint the best moment of his career and erase all the parts of his career where it has been a car crash.

Fury is garbage, all that exaggerated feinting seemed to fool an out of sorts Wlad, who should have just walked him down. Joshua might have stamina issues, but Fury is being massively overrated. He was dropped hard by Cunningham ffs, a light puncher at cruiser, Joshua would knock him out in a few rounds.

No I'm going off the last version of Fury we saw in the ring.

If that Fury was to fight Joshua, Joshua would struggle to win 3 rounds, because for as athletic as we get told he's too rigid, upright and predictable for a guy like Fury.

Plus trying to close Fury down would have him blowing by round 6.

That's the Fury I'm going off.

That Fury is gone now, so it just a fantasy now. I'm not convinced that Fury wins anyway, but we could argue about this to the cows come home. I'm reasonably certain though that AJ will finish with a better career, will make more defences, will have a better cv and will leave a better and long lasting legacy, with all but those people who choose to look back on that one night in Dusseldorf with their Rose tinted glasses on.

Perhaps it's because Fury hasn't fought anybody that can brawl like Joshua?

There comes a time in every boxers career when they'll find themselves getting outboxed and in need to becoming the brawler. In need of throwing caution to the wind, taking it to his opponent and letting his hands go. Wlad never did this, he froze like a deer in the headlights even when it was blatantly obvious from the 4th round that Tyson was outboxing him and taking away his jab with ease. Joshua has proven he's not like that, he will gamble and let his hands go when needed.

Fury has been dining out within the boxing circles on one good win, (and it was a tactically excellent win to be fair to him and Uncle Peter) and people with usernames proclaiming him to be the GOAT put him on a historical pedestal like he's Ali. Your username doesn't change the fact that his second best win is Chisora or Hammer, both of whom Joshua is levels above.

I'm not saying Joshua beats Fury, I'd make Fury a definite favourite. But I think it's far from the crystal clear, cut and dry conclusion that this circle jerk is making it out to be. Joshua and Wlad are both tall and powerful, that's where the similarities end. After two rounds of getting his face jabbed off; Joshua won't ice up like Wlad did, he'd come out like a bull and I don't see a single name on Tyson's resume that suggests he'd be able to cope with that anywhere near as easily as some posters in this thread would have you believe.

Just my 2c. And my objectivrely assessed 2c if I may say so myself, not blind criticism fueled by fanboyism, hatred, or disappointment after a bad stoppage, all of which this thread is rife with.

    Dillian Whyte
    Dominic Brezeale
    Eric Molina
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Carlos Takam
    A motivated Kevin Johnson
    Even ****ing Charles Martin...

Everyone of them beat Steve Cunningham at Heavyweight.

    Now Tyson Furys Top wins?

    Wladimir Klitschko
    Derek Chisora
    Derek Chisora
    Steven Cunningham
    Kevin Johnson
    Christian Hammer
    Martin Rogan.

    LOL.

    Good balanced post.

It is really lazy when people think of AJ and Wlad as being similar fighters. They're really not.

Only Wlad is a cert to beat him.

Molina was getting outboxed by a shot to shut Adamek before a lucky punch, Molina is garbage.....as is Martin.

Cunningham has a shot at any of the others, Whyte is nothing impressive and living off stunning Femi, Takam I'd a beast but remember he's not unbeatable and lost to a fighter much worse than Cunningham.

well I think both Wilder and Joshua are overrated. But I think Joshua is bigger and stronger and he will win the fight. Joshua needs experience and he is getting it.

I was never in this crew. I've always favoured Fury's height and movement to be a real problem for Joshua. Look at how Joshua struggled to find Takam at times. Imagine how peak Fury would do.

But Joshua does have that equalizer, he'd be a very dangerous fight for Fury. He's always so far been able to find that uppercut to turn fights his way like against Whyte, Wlad and now Takam. It was also the uppercut that hurt Fury when they sparred.

    Molina beat Adamek
Adamek beat Cunningham, so you cant really diss Molinas win over Adamek if Cunningham lost too him..

I beileve Cunningham is 4-4 at Heavyweight... What a fighter.

This is just like saying Cunningham was shot vs Tyson Fury.. dont try and make Cunningham out to be a World beater when the only thing he probably beats is his wife.

Adamek was 36 when he won a SD over Cunningham at Heavyweight......he was 40 when he lost to Molina.....40......you get that?......40.

If you are bragging over Molina beating a 40yo then rock on, but Cunningham is way better thought of than Molina or Charles Martin.

Whyte as I said before is living off stunning Femi and isn't really that good.
