Who's rating it that high? It is what it is. When a fighter signs a contract to fight, that fighter is given time to prepare, and is expected to fight to the best of their abilty. No excuses after the fight is over. When Morales soundly beat Pac in their first meeting, I gave him full credit. No Pac's promoter screwed him over when Pac couldn't wear his Reyes gloves excuses. Same with Morales 2 and 3. Morales signed the contracts, showed up to fight, got KOd. None of this weight drained and past prime excuses. Pac early 2 KO defeats, he didn't make weight and got KOd by nobodys. I don't see anyone defending Pac with those losses here like they defend De La Hoya and Morales with their losses.

i don't think mab 2 is rated that highly. just a money fight for mab.
the em fights are rated highly because noone had totally annihilated em before. em was always competitive in his losses so credit has to be given to pac for that alone.
similar to ali outclassing a shot, possibly drug-influenced liston, or foreman destroying a ring-worn and fat frazier. those are rightly considered signature wins.
the em fights was also the time pac started adding more dimensions to his game.

:roflPac fought morales on march 2005 then the rematch was jan 2006. Morales all of a sudden became a shot fighter in 10 months:patsch

He fought barrera again the 2nd time just for the money. He did fight marquez after that and beat him too:rofl

LOL people say all the time the reason Pac lost was because he was a kid fighting men and that he was still learning. Some even act like the lossed don't even exist.

Yes he was shot. Funny how you forgot to mention EM also lost before the rematch to LOL. Why not rematch right a way. Pac waited till Morales was all the way past it because he couldn't win with Morales just a little bit past it LOL Nice try though:hi:

MAB 2- Mab wanted to redeem himself. One sided, and Pac made him fight to survive, This is after MAB beating Juarez.

Morales 3- passing of the torch. Show of class by EM.

Morales 2- Rematch, EM stopped for the first time, Pac's body already ajusted to the weight.

lmaooo at morales who beat pacquiao 10 months earlier all of a sudden became shot cuz he loss to a slick boxer like raheem. Style make fights and morales style was bad for raheem.

Morales was actually winning the 1st half of the rematch with pacquiao then pac wore him out in the 2nd half of the fight and tko him. I'm not saying morales was in his prime sure he was past prime but he wasn't shot like you claimed he is. He still gave david diaz a good fight and many thought he won that fight. Just admit it your a pac hater:nut

The Morales that fought Pacquio the second time was not the same Morales that fought Pacquiao the first time. Plus Pacquiao had the momentum going into the fight knowing Morales lost to a boxer who was inferior to he is. Morales should of rematched Reeham instead of goinng straight to Pacquiao, because mentally you could tell he wasn't in it.

Talk is cheap. For one, Morales holds the key in the rematch clause so if there is any, He is the one dictating the time frame.

another hater thread huh? funny how they call fighters "shot" after pac has beaten them.. but if i remember it right, mab gave jmm a hard time years after pac beat him.. em in first 2 fights was not "shot", not in prime but can still beat anybody in that division.

He just gave up in the second half, he seemed demoralized. Going into a fight with Pacquiao after losing to someone like Raheem is not a good thing. The third fight was pointless.
