I'd say he has an average chin.

He fights with an attacking style, a low left hand and fights at a high weight. If his chin was bad as people make out, he'd have been put down a lot more than he has.

Well he's never been sparked out so it cant be all that bad.

His loss was down to pure exhaustion, not because he couldnt take a punch.

Making these ****ing stupid threads knowing ''THE ****** SQUAD'' is gonna show up and make a joke or two.Everybody knows he has a questionable chin and the man himself even admitted it...what more do you want?
I'm sure you're waiting you're ''His Glass Jaw will be shattered by the first right hook Frodo the midget throws at him'' answer by one of ''THE SQUAD''.

I would say he has a chin of a middleweight, which is bad because he is now a heavyweight! So in that sense, his chin is far below average.

At cruiserweight I'd say 6/10. Not great, but good enough to take some hard shots. He proved this against Mormeck, who, whilst not a knockout artist, landed some real good punches.

At heavyweight it's largely untested, but it will probably improve. There has been a lot of fighters who were badly weight drained and because of it, their chin suffered. Considering how tough it was for Haye to make the weight, you'd have to assume his punch resistance will also improve.

We'll hold our speculation til our resident chin expert, Zakman, has offered his informed input on the matter.

"he has the chin of a middleweight", that is a seriously ******ed comment, i mean where the **** do you pull something like that out of?what is a middleweights chin like, is it better than a welterweights ... **** sometimes this place is ridiculous, could it not be rather that david is too susceptible to taking overhand rights from 200lb guys that the chances of him getting hurt is increased, if he improved his defence his chin probably wouldn't get talked about!
