Wilder was struggling with Shpilka, landed tons of punches on him, lost most of the fight until finally landed a flush haymaker late in the fight. Won by lucky punch pretty much.
Aging Derek Chisora, who was a C level fighter during Klitschko era, who even lost to 41 year Vitaly, who fought him with 1 arm (literaly) demolished Shpilka with the first punch he landed.
No offence Wilder fans, but the guy is no more then a B - fighter. His power looks overrated as hell too.
That's why he declined 100 million dollar DAZN contract. DAZN doesn't let you cherry pick and Wilder would be blasted out Shpilka style quickly.

His skills are bad enough that he will always look ungainly and look second best, appearances are deceptive though as he doesn't get hit much or end up in wars and after those nine rounds his power is still there to finish.
    His ranking doesn't lie

He’s bad for sure, but he always has a chance of landing some wild haymaker. A decent fighter makes short work of him though. Hence the cherry picking.

Every boxer says that until they get in the ring with him. He is a savage. Brutally knocks them all out. Watch what he does to Ortiz and Tyson Fury next. Whyte will get his too. So easy to hit. He will not make it past 6 rounds with the Bronze Bomber. Only Joshua and Fury have any chance at beating Wilder.

I was not impressed with Whyte at all tonight. Joshua, Fury, Ruiz and Wilder are much better. I even think Parker will spark Whyte in a second fight.

He will get outboxed easily by the likes of Fury

But that right hand is a game changer

Styles make fights. Chisora even now that he’s way past his prime is really good at sneaking in his shots if you aren’t careful while Wilder often tries to force his right hand, which makes it easier to avoid.

Chisora also flattened Takam, which is something neither Parker or Joshua could do Chisora hit Takam with a shot he didn’t expect.

the hardest part is getting in the ring with him because he’s spent his entire career running

He actively seeks out school teachers, pastry chefs, obese fighters, fighters with medical problems. One of his fights was fixed, and Tyson Fury rolled off the couch and beat him in the eyes of 80-90% of the boxing community.

Without his fraudulent matchmaking, he would be a high end clubfighter.

Well to be totally honest Fury has already beaten him. Let’s call it how it is. His win against Ortiz was good but apart from that he’s fought mostly cans. Don’t get me wrong he’s exciting to watch but he just isn’t very good. You don’t need to be a genius to see that.

Exactly. Wilder is a fraud who fights handpicked "opposition." He can't a punch and his handlers know it.

Did you actually watch the szpilka fight?

He lost a few rounds but was ahead and thoroughly in charge when he knocked him out

Chisora knocked him out after hes already had a few brutal losses and a scare in his last fight

Some fun facts. Deontay's never been stopped in 42 fights.
