How bad is Joe Cortez?????

back in the days he was a pretty good ref i dont know maybe he's getting old

 

I think Joe Cortez is more concerned about being the center of attention than allowing the boxers to take center stage. He likes to get involved far too much, and takes that "Firm but Fair" bull**** way too seriously. He needs to remember that people don't go to boxing matches to see the referee in action. He could take a few pages from the book of Smoger. **** Joe Cortez.

I know a lot of Mexicans think he is racist, but I don't believe that...

He's been slipping for awhile. He got more attention for the Mayweather-Hatton fight, but he was dangerously late in stopping the Quartey-Bojorquez and Williams-Pakau massacres.

 

I agree. **** him! He damn near ruined the Hatton v Mayweather fight.
He does think he's the star....the fighters are just bit players in "The Joe Cortez Show". I can't stand him!

Ever since 1990 I have considered Joe Cortez to be a *****. When Julian Jackson viciously KO'd Herrol Graham ,Cortez insisted on counting the full ten over an obviously unconcious Graham, he made no effort to remove Grahams shield, and IMO put his life at risk. One word to describe Joe Cortez, "****":deal

 

That one pissed me right the **** off. Dude was literally sleeping on the canvas and Cortez was standing over him counting as if there was even the slightest chance of him getting up.
