Dude doesn't have a poor chin... he has an abysmal chin. Sometimes there is a chance of still being successful but he cannot take one solid punch without going down.

Its not great for sure. But I give Price credit for taking the rematch. Lennox Lewis see's something in him and that means a lot. I'm not sure why so many on this forum seem to hate Price. He is a good guy and a hard worker. His fights are fun to watch. This hating on Uk fighters is so dumb. Price was not even born in the UK was he??? But a Price win tomorrow will be better for the sport. I still think TT is over the hill. One lucky shot does not change that fact.

Wlad has a weak chin and look how far he made it. If Wlad still fought his old style he would have been koed plenty of more times. Imagine if Wlad would have fought Haye like he did Mercer and got caught by a Hayemaker?? Vitali is the better fighter in the family prime for prime.

I love British guys who say that the punch which KO'd him was devastating. That was a puss ass punch. Thompson was as surprised as everyone else that he went down. There was no intent of doing damage at that moment when Thompson threw that weak ass punch... Being that Price has had questionable punch resistance since the Amateurs, I think it's safe to say that his chin may be bad enough to hold him back from being more than he already is.

You can't compare Wlad's chin to Price's. Wlad has been tagged multiple times by heavy hitters and managed to at least get up and survive. He even took some heavy shots against Haye and kept his cool. He has a bad chin but it's not the worst. He made it work for him with his style but you still will get hit now and again. In his fight with Thompson Wlad got tagged multiple times and didn't go down.

I don't know but I suspect everyone who fights him in the future will be punching him in the ear only. I'd say this was a embarassing loss and his chin is pretty weak to get koed so easily.

He is going to get shown no respect everyone is going to go right at that Glass Jaw. He isn't very fluid and doesn't have the skills to keep someone off. He has power but his overall skill level is awful also.

True, at this point Wlad has a much better jaw.
Agree w/your views except i think Wlad's chin is in the average range re punch resistance.
Too many fans like to think fighers chins are either good-iron or bad-glass, as if there's no middle ground.

He's going to get knocked out again tomorrow. Thompson needs one punch...that's it.

Nothing about last fight suggested that Price could ever win versus Thompson.

There have however been fights for fighters that have served as wakeup calls and they've improved dramatically after them and become better fighters. Who knows especially with the help of Lennox Lewis maybe we'll see a new and improved Price......... or maybe we'll see a new and improved Thompson... it's impossible to say. The smart money would be on Thompson though since not everybody fights as well as Wlad Klitschko does and can just Ko Thompson left and right as if it were an easy thing to do.

Just how dumb are you guys?

    Seriously.

Thompson hit him in the back-half of the ear (an illegal blow) and busted his eardrum, which caused him to lose equilibrium. He wasn't technically knocked down at all.

Blow it out your ass, nuthugger. Price has no chin. None. He better be careful walking around outside when the wind is blowing because it might rupture his eardrum and knock him the **** out. :scaredas:

    agreed.

wlad having a weak chin is a fallacy. getting kod by sanders and Brewster is nothing to be ashamed about.

he doesn't have a tua chin but he is by no means a tyrell biggs.
