How Bad is Quitting a Fight? Duran, Vitali, Ortiz all did it

He can be compared to Vitali given the fact Vitali quit the first time he had trouble with an opponent :huh what's worse is the fact people are comparing the likes of Ortiz and Vitali to Duran atsch

 

I am not arguing that Klitschko didn't quit. What I am arguing is that Ortiz has quit MULTIPLE times and is not on the level to even be discussed with Vitali or Duran who both showed toughness and heart after the fact.

Ortiz is nothing but a coddled Golden Boy hype job. He has done nothing in the sport but be a little cry baby. He is a Glass Jawed disgrace.

Duran and Klitschko proved to be warriors and are going to be in the HOF. Ortiz isn't. That was my point.

 

Why compare ortiz to these fighters? Ortiz quits for biggest pay day of his life.

These guys come to fight.

 

No one should receive hate for quitting when they are taking a lot of punishment. Nobody knows how they feel and chances are most of us in the same position may have quit even easier. A smart fighter knows when he's done. Once he feels he's losing after giving it everything he can, there's no shame in choosing to live to fight another day.

Vitali has faced adversity twice in his entire career. And he quit both times. Where this whole idea of Vitali being a warrior comes from I don't know. He's merely a playground bully who quits when someone stands up to him. We can only guess how many times he would have quit if he fought in a tougher era.

 

Don't forget bout Ace Po-Po Freitas vs I believe it was Diego Corales. Boy oh boy did he quit.

 

Vitali had good reason to quit. He had a complete dislocation. Being a doctor he knew it would ruin his career the longer its out of place. Watch the Lewis fight an say vitali doesnt have heart or balls

 

It depends on the context. If a warrior who's shown extreme perseverance in the past and quits once because of atypical circumstances, it's more understandable than someone who simply chose not to go on when they could have without caring if they should have.

I have no idea why people think Vitali is a ****ing warrior. He stepped up twice and folded both times. Not gonna talk about Lewis fight because there's a sticky, but trust me 'no mas' was on it's way.

Vitali quit against Byrd because Byrd started dominating him around the mid rounds on wards, not because he was hurt. He didn't want to be clowned more and possibly made to look very bad in the championship rounds.
I respect Vitali, he is a good person and is helpful to people. But ATG he is not. Quitter he is.
