How bad was Amir Khan's chin?

    How bad would you say Amir Khan's chin was?

    I think it's one of the worst I've ever seen. It's not just that his chin was bad. Khan had a triple whammy of a weak chin, bad defense, and bad recovery skills.

    His chin wasn`t bad it`s just that he left himself so open stepping in with his punches that he would get caught flush, he took Brooks shots pretty well and Maidana`s who rocked Floyd badly with a right hand.

    So bad he survived maidana's best?

    If your chin is that bad you don't make it to world champion level

    Exactly, there’s guys who can’t even spar cause they know they’ll get badly hurt, thats pure glass. Khan’s chin wasn’t great, but it held up enough to get him far with his whatever defense.

    Compare him to other elite guys in the division, his chin will most likely always be on the weak side, if not the weakest. Compare him to most boxers, it’s solid

    Probably the worst I've ever seen. Anytime he got hit by anyone no mater what their level was or power was, you'd just expect chicken dances to be imminent. Never seen a guy hit the deck that many times.

    Not as shocking as it's sometimes made out, but not great either... So-so defence for the level he was fighting at didn't help.

    As much as anything else, he took on some great guys - his chin may not have been great, but he was willing to put it on the chopping block despite that.

    Not as bad as people thought. I thought Brook would sleep him but it never happened. He didnt even touch the canvas.

    His chin ain't good, but his recovery is worse..............that's why he gets stopped, he can't recover

    maidana's best? khan's maidana (pre roberto garcía) is maidana's best?

    I couldnt disagree more, the maidana who fought mayweather (maidana's real best) would kill khan in the ring. Actually khan barely survivided maidanas' mediocrity.

    Saying Khan has the worst chin you've seen just shows the lack of exposure to boxing you had.

    Maidana's best punches.

    Don't be mad, just because Floyd underestimated Maidana and ducked Khan doesn't mean you should attack Khan.

    Yeah, no. The Maidana that fought Floyd was MUCH better than the one that fought Khan. The Maidana of the Floyd fights would have knocked Khan out.
