How bad will a loss to Janibek be for Crawford

This is one of the most ignorant responses. It's crazy that so many of y'all are willing to be so far separated from reality in order to discredit Crawford......lol.

    WEIGHT BULLY:

Why because he went up and dominated the 168lb Undisputed Champion after individuals like you claimed he had no chance at even competing in the fight...... Crawford took 13+ months putting on weight THE RIGHT WAY. The same way that football players put on weight when they go from high school to college level competition. Crawford had NEVER competed above 135lbs until he moved up to 140......Then he moved up to 147lbs.......Then moved up to 154lbs..... Then jumped immediately to 168 for a signature fight...... And guess what.....thoughout all of the conversations through this time.....Not ONCE did you hear anyone claim that Crawford was too big for the 135/40/47/54/68 divisions...... Actually it was quoted the opposite. He was said to be too small. They questioned his power. A couple commentators made jokes about his skinny legs in early fights. He was called "light in the a$$". He was told he wasn't a real welterweight. He was. Look at the press conferences for Felix Diaz, Jeff Horn, Jose Benavidez, Kell Brook, Shawn Porter, Errol Spence Jr., Israil Madrimov , & even Canelo..... The common subject matter of all of those matchups was the questioning if Crawford was big and strong enough to withstand the power, pressure, strength of those fighters. If you are denying that then you are willfully being ignorant for the sake of argument and there really isn't a reason for us to continue this conversation. Crawford moved up in weight as his body matured. Something that ALL FIGHTERS have done throughout history...... How many times have you called Mayweather, Manny, Whitaker, Roy Jones Jr, Andre Ward, Canelo, Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard, Duran, Usyk, etc..... weight bullies..... Because all of them won titles and/or dominated an opponent who was competing in a division heavier than their original division that began their pro career in.

    CHERRY PICKING:

Crawford has always moved up to a division and gunned for the champion and/or the "man to beat" in the division. Do you not know what a Lineal Champion is..... How does a fighter become a Lineal champion in 3 DIFFERENT DIVISIONS if he is cherry picking... Make it make sense. Who exactly do you say Crawford was supposed to fight in the divisions he was in that he either didn't fight or that didn't turn down a fight vs him. Crawford called out CHAMPIONS of the divisions he was in. Adrien Broner and Danny Garcia openly jumped divisions to avoid negotiating a match up vs Crawford. Manny Pacquiao, Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, Errol Spence Jr, Jaron Ennis, Vergil Ortiz, all turned down official and unofficial offers to fight Crawford at least once in their career. Even Canelo rejected the notion to face Crawford at first. Remember Crawford hinted to gunning for Canelo before the Madrimov fight. Even with Crawford wanting to compete at 160lbs.....he is looking at a Janibek fight....the number 1 middleweight today..... Arguably the toughest of the CHAMPIONS in that division. But you claim he's cherry picked his way through life........

You sound like a bitter dummy. Nothing was given to that man in life. He has become the most accomplished fighter of this era through his own hard work. Someone who is too lazy to even look up the facts of a fight that they hate so passionately would never understand his work ethic. He didn't have an elite amateur career to lean on. He didn't have the red carpet known as the Olympic pedigree. He didn't come from a city known for producing talented fighters. It was his hard work that put him where he is currently and you are claiming he cherry picked through life...... Wow, what an ignorant statement.

It's one thing to not be a fan of a certain fighter, it's another thing to have a personal hatred of that fighter who doesn't even know you exist. That hatred makes you avoid reality with so much passion.

You would have sounded more knowledgeable if you tried to argue that Janibek had a skill set that Crawford hasn't seen.....but then again you would sound clueless there as well, because he presents nothing that Crawford hasn't already conqueror in his career.

Off topic, I wonder if prime Golovkin could beat prime Crawford at 160.

Crawford is old enough where age will be used an excuse if he loses here. The guy who replaced him at 140 is a few years younger then him and hes been retired awhile.

A loss will stop Crawford rise through the all time rankings but I'd argue that was already done if he wasn't moving up to LHW. Losing his 0 will end him being compared to Mayweather though. While he was never going to win that comparison outright if he retires unbeaten it'll be sort of a ying yang thing and if he loses it won't be.

Janibek is a good fighter, but he isn't anything particularly special. He certainly doesn't warrant the hype he's received.

Crawford would have to get old overnight or suffer through a terribly off night to lose to Janibek.

I'm hoping you are a kid. I pray you aren't a grown man who proudly creates subject matter for the sake of argument like a middle school female?

I like that match up. IQ vs power..... I would give GGG the upper hand with his experience at the weight, but it's hard for me to think his style would have much success against Crawford's IQ

I don't care what he does in his personal life but he has had some scandals. Only recently he got a woman pregnant and it wasn't his wife.

I saw Janibek up close when he fought in Sydney and even though his opponent wasn't very good I could see how good Janibek was he does subtle things very well, good foot work and timing also has a good punch selection and he hits hard I could here the thud on his shots from ringside. One of the best fighters I have seen live in the flesh in my lifetime.

Janibek so far beat nobody. And he's already 33. He has accomplished nothing in his career.

I agree his resume is thin but he is a very good fighter.
