I'm a huge pac fan too, but you guys gotta give credit where credit is deserved. That punch would have landed, Pac was getting reckless whirlwind pac from many years ago and you can't do that with JMM, look at sparring videos he knocksdown his sparring partners with the same counter off a sloppy jab. Not a lucky punch. Maybe he's lucky pac tripped into the punch but punch would have landed, it was a hard punch and the fact pac was KD earlier in the fight leads me to believe that punch without the fall would have been another KD or maybe a KO but not as brutal

I think the results of this fight was in the making if you look back on what happened previously in Manny's Career. It is my personal belief that when Manny fought Margarito, he also ended his career. He took some vicious shots that shortened his professional career right then (hooray! for a great champion who took on all comers!). Marquez was showing decline but surprisingly (sarcasm) he started to peak as of lately.

So you have Manny's punch resistance declining and Marquez's stamina and punching power increasing. Manny was even flashed knocked down.... When I saw this I knew something seriously wrong. Manny is not the same fighter he once was before the Margarito fight and I am pretty sure I'm correct in this assertion.

Marquez has hit Manny with great precise counters through their bouts and has wobbled him on several occasions. This was when Marquez was younger and more of a physical force. Never did he have these types of results (flash knockdown, knockout)... so I'm not buying into the whole strength training. I wouldn't be too surprised if we see Marquez knock down Timothy Bradley in their upcoming fight.

When u see 24/7 and how Marquez worked on it during camp and then knock PAC down with it twice its not luck. But with that said, I think PAC was going to stop him in 9 rounds the way Marquez was getting busted up in the face if he didn't land that punch. Which is why as a PAC fan I can admit and tell every PAC **** he had no chance with mayweather. That's the best right hand in boxing right now. Just look at the first morales fight and see how he was getting hit with right hands. Even against cotto, cotto when he had some success in the early rounds it was with the right hand.

Well I don't think it was a lucky punch, he knocked him down with it early in the fight and hit him with it several more time before the final ko, but at the time of the fight I remember thinking that Pacquaio had JMM going and it would only last 2 or 3 more rounds. But that was Marquez and I don't think you can ever write him off. They've fought a bunch of times now, but I would love to see it one more time!
