De La Hoya was denied his two best victories by being robbed against Mosley in their rematch, the other one being the Tito fight.

Ironically, it was the accusations of cowardice and "running" he faced after the Trinidad fight which caused him to abandon caution and trade with Mosley in their first fight. And De La Hoya still very nearly won. He learned his lesson and outboxed Mosley in their second fight.

Oscar proved he was the better man, he wouldn't need to do it again

DLH's long been retired, his nutswingers cant cope with the truth of his weaknesses. The man just couldn't step it up in the championship rounds vs the upper echelon of his generation.
