I love movies of that ilk also. Especially when they call on otherwise serious actors of high caliber who don't normally do comedy. Lloyd Bridges and his addictions - "I picked a bad week to give up sniffing glue...." An absolute killer. Going even further back in time, there was The Kentucky Fried Movie and later, Amazon Women on The Moon. I'm a fan of Euro Trip also: "Scotty doesn't know..." Lol.
That's the way Pat. I always find that the 'shrooms help me to see the true reality of all things. Just because some others can't see it, they call it hallucinating, I call it acutely sharpened focus that brings about awareness of the absolute truth all around us.
Context. Earlier in the thread we had someone describing Ali as being assisted/guided back to his corner after the knockdown by Cooper. No other member can see that - because it didn't happen. Despite same, that same someone steadfastly remained with that observation - tagging it with the suggestion that everyone else was creating their "own" narrative after the fact. Crazy, or what? I was simply highlighting the ludicrous nature of that observation with some humor.
