People are getting a little bit too acedemic about all of this. We'll see how the fight goes, Pac gets caught more often than Floyed and Mosely hits hard. I can see Pacquiao maybe going down but I think he'll get back up and probe to be way too strong for Mosley.
I would say a peak Mayweather had a great chin but with age it may be diteriating. A little bit like Calzaghe who got out at the right time.

He was hurt but not bad enough to boot him down and went right to work. He knew what to do.

Oscar, cotto, margo, and many others have been hit flush and harder by a younger and prime balco mosley without getting rocked like mayweather. Mayweather fought a 38 year old, blood drained, no epo, no clear mosley and still got hurt badly. He does have recup abilities but if it weren't for mayweathers defense and his good timing to clinch, plus mosley gassing out he would have been done. His chin is solid only due to his defense. I say the chin is average.

Those punch were not extraordinarily strong. Margarito took a lot straighter punches than those without flinching.

That is why I suspect that it was part of the drama of a fixed fight.

he smiled, mayweather has chin, so obviously, it didnt affect him too much. had mosley kept swinging and landed another one, the story would have ended bad for floyd.

Floyd was hurt quite a bit, probably the most of his career just by looking at his face after the 2nd big punch, but it showed he's got a good chin and good boxing technique by clinching.
I also think pacquiao will be able to deal with mosley's power

IMO he looked more shocked and stunned, he was bound to be somewhat hurt...but not as bad as I first thought. He was still throwing back at that point, compared to the second shot were he was trying to smother Mosley's work.

Straight after the first shot landed, Mayweather looked stable on his legs and was sticking his right to the body. The crowd went crazy after the first shot landed, this is what probably made Mayweather a little too eager...letting Mosley land the second shot.

  13. Meh his knees buckled. It's not like Mosley almost knocked him out.

Have you ever used Grant Gloves. I have both Grant fight gloves, and cleto reyes gloves and the grants are actually a little harder to me. Grant gloves are definitely not pillows.
