I just got a call today from a buddy in france asking me about Pac vs Oscar. The guy doesn't watch much boxing, but knows i'm into it. Calls me up to tell me he heard about this fight and what i think about it. I think its gonna be huge.
This is gonna be HUGE. Which is sad, really. Casual fans FAR outnumber us boxing fans. So its inevtiable.
huge is an understatement. im afraid this fight is going to make the 'real fights', championship fights that actually matter look less important to casual boxing fans. i really hate that this fight is happening.
I dont think its gonna be to big of a fight with my people(MEX). Not as big as any Chavez fight,hopefully does less than Mayweather V Oscar. Most mexicans are dissapointed in Oscar taking on a smaller guy Oscar isnt fooling anybody but the stupid media.
Obviously. Commercially this will be a massive event. When boxing succeeds it does so without boxing fans.
Well I am not, bull**** fight but I am excited about Mares fight Penalosa on the undercard. Other than that no.
