    In his 2nd career he was. He used his jab consistently and let the knock outs come. He was more relaxed and didnt gas out. He was smarter at using his size and uncommon strength to smother and push back short, smaller heavyweights.
    Ofcourse he was slower so he had to have better timing. Set traps, work the body.

    He was always a great body puncher and he used his strength greatly v Frazier everytime Joe got close, he always posted with both arms to shove an opponent out of close range.
