Can't blame Wlad. He does the best thing for him, it's smart. Blame his opponents for not solving the riddle.

 

Wlad's fights put me to sleep since he teamed up with Steward. Golota will always be my favorite because he liked to mix it up and give boxing fans unparrallelled excitement.

 

He totally abandoned combination punching, doesn't throw his jab ramrod fashion anymore, and never counters. So, it changed his style a lot.

 

No style Wlad uses will save him from the rath of David Haye.

I considered myself a fan back in the good ole combo punching days , but fair play ( and as others have said ) he does what he needs to and if I'm honest what suits someone of his size too.

I miss the Wlad that hit Mercer with as a good a double left hook as i've ever seen form a heavy though.

 

Humans can sense fear or uncertainty in another human. We realise that when a guy is not exactly built to stand up to others people power , they usually become the " boxer " in a match. well both combatants are " boxers "

but one "boxer " may want to " outbox" the other " boxer "

the truth is , they are both " boxers " " boxing " .

One of them is running around the ring a little. keeping his distance. and we know why they are doing it. We have senses. We can see.

Afraid of getting knocked out. Afraid that they cannot stand up to the power of the other man.

Instead of challenging those odds. Some guys go against what they know to be couragous just so that they can get that win. By any means necessary they will get that win.


That might be great for the individual. OF COURSE, of course.

Used to like some guys in the sport. but now they run from fighters in the ring. EVEN WHEN THEY ARE BIGGER AND STRONGER.

I personally have no time to watch this type of preservation.
