    how many really bought the ppv? Anyway, Hatton was widely known in Britain.
    Pacquiao is known globally. Who do you think is more popular?

    Not bigger then Ali/Frazier the only difference is they didnt have PPV at home back then, if they did the numbers would have been ridiculous

    pbf-hatton did more ppv's in Britain than US. population of US is something like 300mil? UK 60mil. THIS AT 4.00AM in the morning!!!

    I think it would have made a lot more financial sense to have held the fight at 9.00pm UK timezone, the buys from UK would probably have more than doubled!

    Read back through the thread, someone said that no one knew who Hatton was when he fought PBF - I was countering that comment.

    I can't agree with that. Im from the UK, and every mother****er know's who Ricky Hatton is. I think Pac-PBF will surpass Hatton-PBF in PPV numbers though.
