How big is the ring for Pac vs Algieri?

Rewatching Prov vs Algieri I noticed Lampley remarked about how the ring was very small 18ft. This was a very big advantage for Prov. How big is that ring for Pac vs Algieri? If it is a very large ring it will be a huge advantage for Algieri, much taller with bigger strides and very athletic, he can use the whole thing and his long reach to control the fight.

What were the ring sizes on these other Arum promoted China cards thus far? Were they consistent?

And even with the small ring Prov was getting outboxed for long stretches of the fight, no matter who you think deserved it. So, with a big ring you got to think Algieri will have that much more of a chance to use his distance.

Pac is faster on his feet than Algieri, not gonna matter how big the ring is. Algieri has to establish his jab and throw it non-stop. If he can't control Pac with the jab, its gonna be a long night.

Pac is'nt good at cutting the ring off when you give him angles though, the bigger the ring the better chance for Algieri.

I've got to think Arum will make certain that ring is as small as is allowable.

I'm sure it was. The name fighter almost always gets his way when it comes to things such as gloves and ring size.
I dont think I ever saw a bigger ring than what Leonard and Hagler fought in.

A big ring is a major disadvantage for the pint sized Pac vs his very tall for the weight opponent. Make no mistake about it. The ring size will reveal to us the nature of the relationship between Deguardia and Arum.

Have'nt seen enough of Algieri to make a knowledgeable pick.

If Algieri gives him alot of movement and does'nt freeze on the big stage, he has a chance to outbox Pacquiao.

How does Algieri handle southpaws? Pacquiao's southpaw stance becomes a major dillema for most. Its the main reason that left hook reliant fighters cant accomplish anything againt him.

If Algieri can move to the left and shoot a right hand with authority while he does it, then he has a good chance, if not he is likely to lose without much resistance.

You better believe they will be fighting in a playpen in Macau.

This comes up all the time - ALL Rings in Vegas are 20 x 20 the size is set by the commission not the promoters or fighters. They are not allowed to alter the size.

However in China - anything goes.

Pac still went to sleep in a smaller ring against Juan ,it doesn't matter if Chris really wants this he would had study the tapes of Jaun against Pac and thats how you beat him. We may see an upset ,Father Bob already has a rematch waiting to happen.

Hmmm, somebody said steroid godfather and Marquez supplier Memo Heredia visited Algieris although maybe that was a joke thread I dont know so maybe he is heeding your advice.

Juan is a great boxer and caught Pac with a great shot and was probably roided, but that really has nothing to do with this fight. He can't mimic Marquez, Bradley already tried that.

So we must find out the ring size.
