How big of a star will Pavlik become?

I don't think he'll be a huge star as in transcending the sport, but he'll be big in boxing terms simply because of his style and growing fanbase

And yes he'll lose, but I think he's a bit better than Gatti

That was his plan. Taylor 2 didn't live up to expectations. I think the biggest reason they wouldn't talk to Winky is that fight would require PPV type money in spite of what Winky was saying. A little while after he said he wanted to put Kelly on network TV we hear the MMA people inked a deal. This may help get boxing back there too.

People have been begging for footage on this guy. The only thing I've seen so far was some footage that was to ancient to be useful.

The '168' crowd I'm guessing? :patsch Judge fighters by what they do in the ring. Kelly hasn't made his first defense yet because Taylor drew out the process of the rematch.

Can we cut this crap? Even if it is true, and it is becoming less true every day, every time it is mentioned it is perpetuated. Same with the Euro/US stuff.

Basically Pavlik will lose as soon as he faces an A-level fighter. He himself is a B-level fighter. Taylor is B-level.

Oh God, this board is dreadful because of comments like this. What you said only tells all of us that you don't know what you're talking about and you're more into the scene then the sport itself. Both Pavlik and Taylor make huge sacrafices to be as good as they are, try and do what they do just even for a short amount of time andd then after you're done working your ass off get into a ring and get punched for other peoples entertainment and then maybe you'll have some respect.

Kelly will hopefully bring the sport back to the 80's era, when boxing was free to watch and beloved by every blue-collar person out there, ala Mancini.

There are no class A's at MW, its a very poor division.
