    bigger star, worse resume.

seems like Froch is the type of guy who can live with that.

and if he wins the super 6 he will be huge.

He'd definitely have been better managed in his early days, and don't forget that Carl has been very protected for a very long time, so he would have taken on decent level competition earlier with Frank, I would have thought. I see no reason why Frank would not have signed him up for the super six either...

So, in my view, Carl would have made a lot more money, would have become a world champ earlier, would have had one or two more losses, but would still have been in the super six.

Most importantly, people in Britain would have known who the **** he was.

Overall, a lot better off, in my view.

people moan about Mick, but he gave us great fights like Pascal, Taylor, the super six etc. Mick and Froch make a good team. Like Laurel and Hardy.

as a boxing fan, I'm happy with Mick giving us all those great fights and putting Froch in the super six. I don't care about how much more money he would have made under Frank Warren, because I'm not a shareholder in Froch's company. I'm not his accountant or financial adviser, or on his payroll in any way. Mick did good with Froch. From a fans point of view.

if froch was with warren he wouldn't have won a title at supermiddle as calzaghe was the main man at sports network.

either he'd have been built up and sacrificed as a WBO title challenger or he'd of had to move up to lightheavyweight and challenge for the WBO title there.

he would be massive and justifiably so. the way boxing is in this country the public only seem to bother with 2 or 3 fighters at any given time, Benn/Eubank/Naz in the 90's or Calzaghe/Hatton in the 00's for example. Yes credit to big mick for putting Carl in some *******s but with Khan drifting away and Haye the only shining light i do think he has missed a good chance to make the cobra big box office. it breaks my heart when i talk to my mates about frochy and they dont know that much about him as he is the kinda fighter who could have mass appeal.
just think about this, in two years time Cleverly and Brook could be the two boxers making the back pages, on sky b/o and being talked about by the general public and that will be down to FW

Imagine if all those fights had been on Sky thought, Froch would be a household name by now.

Sky have lost out on this too, all the good fights Froch has been in would have been good little earners for them I would have imagined.

But would those fights have happened at all if he was with Frank? He would have been richer, and the casual would have known his name, but the hardcore fans would have maybe missed out on the top fights.

Maybe not. If Hennesy just had a Sky TV deal it would be grand, I don't necessarily thing it's Warren, just being on tv that everybody watches, and Sky Sports News.

The difference in the knowledge of casual fans between when Haye was supposed to be fighting Wlad on Setanta and the recent Haye/Harrison fight just shows how important it is to be Sky's cash cow.

I think Frank would have watched him with Pascal. Vacant title, underestimated opponent. Then I think he might have gone for Taylor too. Washed up name, shadow of former self. Those two moves sound like classic Frank.

After that, I'm not so sure. I would have thought he would have wanted to go about milking a cash cow. This is all dependent on Froch, though. I always have the feeling that he sticks with Fat Mick as he gets to control his own career; I think it's the fighter himself who picks the tough fights rather than the promoter, so it's Froch who should get the credit. Maybe he'd have split from Frank at that point, like Calzaghe and Kahn did at other stages, seeking more control.
