Those are in denial that this is a mismatch fight... but the poll result won't lie... If JMM wins, it's one of the biggest upset coz JMM is the heavy underdog in this MISMATCH fight...

 

Floyd is about a 3 1/2 to 1 favorite! So if JMM won it would be an upset but not that big of an upset!! It would be the same as mosley beating margo!! I believe tony was a 4 to 1 betting favorite! And It didnt suprise me that much when SSM won...

 

**** the odds. JMM knocking out FMJ would be ten times the "upset" SSM knocking out AM was, easily.

Exactly. I'm sure Mosley led most polls if they weren't dead heats. Not even Marquez's biggest fans (myself included) favor him here.

I agree Floyd is a bit overrated. He's not invincible, he has showed flaws. Marquez is a great fighter, mismatch or not. So I certainly couldn't call it an ATG upset.

 

It's only a big upset because of the writers, fans and books have Floyd so far ahead, but in actuality, looking at the pedigrees of these two, this would be a mild upset only because of the size difference.
