How big of an upset would it be if John Ruiz beat David Haye?

Not saying it's very likely or anything, but that would suck considering all the future fights that are being discussed with Haye. What's your guys take on that?

This is one match where I'll support dodgy judging as long as it goes Haye's way. Boxing is tired of Ruiz

I'd be surprised if Ruiz makes it past 4.

i not think people would be upset.

haye is a rude man. people would be happy not upset if he lost.

ruiz is respectful and a warrior.

Dont be surprised if Ruiz causes the upset here. Ruiz is a guy who is VERY hard to look good against. Haye doenst like it in the grill and he'll have to stay in the middle of the ring if he wants to keep Ruiz honest. Stylistically Ruiz will cause Haye alot of headaches.

Ruiz is a decent guy, he always hugs his opponent.

It would be a small upset because of Haye visibly superior talent, but not too much, given how unproven Haye is at HW. Ruiz would have easily beaten everyone Haye ever faced. Haye might very well have lost to the version of Holyfield that Ruiz beat.

Haye wont beat him easily because Ruiz is hard to look good against. He will break down a stubborn Ruiz much as he did Fragomeni.

As much as Ruiz will spoil and make it an ugly fight I feel Haye is good enough to land and get Ruiz going.

Don't expect a pretty fight and Haye will get **** from some of the ******s on here about it being an ugly fight, but unless you 'David Tua' him, he'll have to be broken down.

This is true, to a degree. Ruiz is a classy guy. Haye isn't. That said, Ruiz is well past his prime and doesn't have an exciting style. People would love to see Haye have to eat humble pie, but they'd also like to see him win, to set up an exciting showdown with a Klitschko- where he will be carried out of the ring on a stretcher.

Ruiz just isn't that good. Sure he will fight anyone, sure he is a nice guy. But he just isn't that good.

I am expecting a Haye win by KO around the 6th-7th.

Then a Valuev rematch. Then Holyfield. Then Meehan. Then Chag. Then Ruiz again. Rinse repeat.

Ugh! you're probably right but Haye has made it clear that he has ambitions beyond this dismal scenario.
