How dare you speak about Lord Weight in vain.

For atonement I want you to drink two protein shakes. Extra clumpy.

I don't mess about with that modern tripe, I'll crack 3 eggs give them a little whisk and swallow the beauties down whole!

Yer spouting absolute nonsense buddo. Flintstones' kids didn't make man larger, survivability did. There are more people today by population percentage with IBS than ever before. It's not because they all refuse to stop eating 7-11 burritos. It's because in 1720 having an overactive thyroid or trouble pooing may well be a death sentence.

Wasn't **** like kale that made man survive better either, it were the industrial revolution.

Besides any of that, it were Cribb that introduced modern boxing dieting. Vegan is not new, the name is.

We can never make a reliable prediction here, but lets ask the obvious questions.

    Q. Could a fighter of Tyson's prime proportions have existed in the early years of the sport?

    A. Potentially, yes. Sam McVea was 5' 11'', with a 78'' reach, and always looks in shape in his early career. He weighed in at 207lbs for a fight with Jack Johnson, at the age of 20, and seems to have been around 212 at his peak.

    Q. Is it likely that Tyson would have been of those proportions back then?

    A. Probably not. When I compare him to other heavyweights of the same height, I do not come away with the impression, that he was naturally bigger than any 5' 10'' fighter who had gone before. I get the impression that the truth lies somewhere between "he was just a roided Marciano" and "he was naturally bigger than Sam McVea".
