How boxing lost its magic...

Boxing is flawed all ways has been but I still love it .I still train and mess about sparing at the gym I go too even though Iam mid forties luckily the young guys take it steady with me.The thrill of what if in boxing trying to work out what's likely happen in fights fascinates me its the only sport I really follow.It is more accessible with the internet than ever and seems to be getting more popular.long may it continue.

 

The generational bias is normal...Every generation feels their time was special, its true from a personal POV

Some fairly wacky attitudes.

 

Promoters deciding who wins a fight, the judges are just pawns................referees like Tony Weeks and Lawrence Cole, boxing commissions like Nevada, commissioners like Bob Bennett, all lead to one bad decision to another. The powers that be in boxing control everything, I have been told the fans do not know anything about boxing, it came from the horses mouth..................it's time fans stand up and fight back, but fans seem to be afraid to do such, well I did not, but one person can't do it, even Jim Lampley tried to help, and I don't like Lampley much, Atlas told the truth, and was fired, well, his contract isn't up for a couple years, ad infinitum! If they brought those back, especially from Feb, March, April, then again in Aug, September, Oct.....

Main Events and Haymon gave us a tease.

If the promoters, fighters, and state commissions wanted to expand the sport, increase revenues and elevate the talent pool, they would be smart to look at the model before Don King sank his teeth in along with the premium networks.

WBSS tournament gave boxing fans the magic back, but USTV boycotted it, the powers that be in boxing did not want anyone to see it. They give us mostly crap with corruption, WBSS gave us good fights..............

 

Human life is business,how in earth boxing would be different?

Wake up people to this Globalism and manipulating. Everything is business. Human needs to change,luckily soon we are all robots or dead. So it doesn't matter

And oh btw..boxing and sports are manipulation of humans,and man.

I roll now another joint and watch how our world unfolds in upcoming months.

They need to put boxing back on regular TV like they did in the 1950's-1990's.
