How Cagey is Hopkins?

Joppy's mangled swollen face after that fight was epic.

 

Joppy was near the weakest middle champ ever. I take no credence from that performance.

 

How can you say that about someone who beat DURAN?!!!

 

joppy was not that bad of a champ in my mind actually


but hopkins gets away with dirty stuff because
refs let him get away with it.

remember this is not 1933 where a guy has a dirty rep
this is hopkins, all the refs have seen all his pervious fights and know
what he does.........with replays and all

but ofcourse they wont see it when he fights next.......yeah ok

 

Refs are not just letting him get away with it. The refs know Hopkins is dirty, hell everybody knows it and Hopkins himself has admitted it and even shown people how he does it. But the fact is when that ref is in the ring with him they don't see Hopkins fouling even when they know what to look for because Hopkins has become so adept at disguising his dirty tatics.

 

Joppy is a good title defense for Hopkins

I getit though, anyone who Hopkins or Mayweather has beaten is terrible, therefore they are terribly overrated and can't match up to fighters from the past, i understand
