...they didn't consider Mayweather to be a "Supernatural?"

How is this possible when Mayweather was obviously the best fighter in the game by a wide margin and was adaptable and as smart as they come.

He's up there if not past guys like Hopkins and Roy Jones as far as pure understanding and ability of boxing.

    Someone explain this to me.

I dont think anyone has ever argued that he is very skilled - in fact he has been p4p #1 even if his resume is as bad as they come for an elite performer.

How Mayweather, with wins over Castillo, Corrales, Hatton, Judah, De La Hoya among numerous other top ten fighters can be regarded as having a weak resume never ceases to amaze me. Even if your arguing it's weak for an "elite performer" I just don't get it.

My stand on this issue is very consistent and clear.

PBF is the most skilled fighter I've seen in the modern history of this sports. And I love to see him fight . . . the problem is . . . he doesn't want to fight . . . so **** him and screw him. :yep

I'm not gonna make excuses and make a fool out of myself trying to depend his stand of quiting instead of fighting the right fights.

Money? What do you people care on how much money he receives? Is he giving any of you part of the money he earns?

    AGAIN . . . I'm a fan of the sports . . . not a NUT HUGGER. :deal

Because the term 'supernatural' did not apply to him at 147 and higher, when we created the term. At 130 he was absolutely supernatural, after that, he went into different styles that don't classify in the meaning of the definition. Though, he did always have 'supernatural ability', this doesn't mean that it was put to use in the form of the definition.

So there you have it, prime, at 130, Mayweather was a supernatural, but little after that could be considered such, due to the manner in which he evolved as a fighter, he became more limited on what he could do as he went up in weight, even though he was a decent size at those weights. 130 is the best Mayweather, amazing fluid combinations, great defence, willing to battle and hurt the opponent and most importantly, shredded and showered guys with punches.

Understand? And if you don't, I won't bother explaining forward, this is fitting enough.

It seems whenever a fighter is on top they get loads of unnecessary critism. It was the same with Jones and the same with Hopkins until he lost and now people root for him.

It's only a matter of time now that Mayweathers gone that Manny Pac starts to get insulted by "fans" of the sport.

Skill doesn't make you a supernatural, it's skill/ability of the highest class, mixed with a warrior mindset. You expect to see guys who make you miss a lot, but who will also seek to brutalise opponents with workrate and their hardest shots.

Mayweather 140 and above, did not do such and became a more conservative style fighter, of which was not supernatural.

Resume/accomplishments, and even greatness, has nothing to do with the supernatural tag. Nothing at all. It's a type of fighter, doesn't have to be an ATG or HOF fighter and can be for a certain period in the fighters career where they exhibited being this type, such as Mayweather did at 130.

    Understand?

This sounds reasonable. However he did what you explained above in higher weight classes -- not against people who were elite, like he did during 130. Wasn't as "consistent."

Roy was supernatural. Pernell was supernatural, Camacho at 130 was supernatural, Mosely at 135 was supernatural and then obviously Leonard was supernatural....

Yeah, Americans are excluded just for being American.:yep

    Pac?

The "idiots" here have been insulting that guy ever since he beat MAB . . . so wake up. :D

I myself have been antagonizing Pac . . . for delaying his trainings due to shooting commercials, politcal engagements, playing pool or even going to the casino.

Why? Do you think is that wrong?
