There are no strict parameters, it's all down to opinion.

Wlad is no great IMO. Very good, but considering his era he'll never have the chance to prove how great he could be...although I imagine in a better era he wouldn't be as highly regarded as he is now.

Wlad aint a great if anything this era has helped his legacy rather than hindered it if he was knocking about in the 90's he wouldnt stand out anymore than Morrison,Golota, Tua etc

Sumbu was a very good. Close to McCallum in terms of resume, i'd have to give Mike the slight edge :yep

Nah, seriously. I gave Sumbu both fights (the 2nd was a technical masterclass from both and could have went either way), but there can be no doubt he completely schooled McCallum the first time round :deal

Totally agree, to completely outclass a fighter with the ability of McCallum is a massive achievement and shows just how good Kalambay was.

I had the second fight 115-114 McCallum, but wouldn't moan if it went the other way.

    Sorry, what?

  7. None of those are great fighters.

Cotto probably comes the closest, but great fighters don't lose to Margarito in their prime.

Byrd is probably underrated, but again.... not a great fighter by any stretch. But he did make Godzilla quit on his stool.
