Everyone is aware of the controversy here! Williams was being robbed. Airich was out on his feet in the 6th and they ended the round! Shocking. Oner should be ashamed but he saved his fighter for another day by throwing in the towel. As for anyone throwing in a towel, the rules states that this is not the end of a fight. The ref does not have to accept it. It is simpler the corner saying the want to withdraw their man.
Anybody remember Graham Earl vs Michael Katsidis I think it was when Mickey Vann throw the towel out of the ring and let them carry on? I think it was Earl-Katsidis, probably not though.

LOL yea, it was Earl-Katsidis.Earl's corner threw in the towel and Mickey Vann threw the towel out and then Earl knocked Katsidis down. The commentators were covering it up and saying Vann used his experience to allow the fight to continue.
