How can American fans rate Tavoris Cloud, at this time in his career?

He's got potential, but didn't impress me in the Johnson fight. But then again, even at his advanced age, Johnson won't make anyone look good. Wouldn't mind seeing Cloud vs. Pascal or Dawson. One thing for sure Cloud does have a big punch and he seems real competitive, but I think he will get outboxed by Dawson and against Pascal it's a 50-50. I think Pascal will easily outwork Cloud, but Cloud always has the puncher's chance against anyone. Can probably beat Pascal on a mid-late round ko.

 

Cloud is exciting but unpolished. An Emmanuel Steward or even a Robert Garcia can get him places. He has decent power and great speed but his combos don't amount to anything good. Watch his last three fights and you will know what I mean. :good
