How can American fans rate Tavoris Cloud, at this time in his career?

    Do you have a link for that? Whether he ducked him or not I dont know, but I do agree Erdei would probably beat Cloud a year or so ago.

    American fans rate him as a top 5 light-heavyweight, which is exactly what he is. Who at 175 is better? Top 5: Pascal, Dawson, Hopkins, CLOUD, Johnson...

    Someone on another thread put out a link showing it. It was about how Erdei had to go up to CW to get a decent fight after Cloud IBF champ and Campillo then WBA champ both pulled out of unification fights against him, so Erdei went up to CW to fight the WBC champ.

    I dont know about Cloud, but Campillo never pulled out of anything. Universum set up a fight between Campillo and Erdei without asking Campillo because they thought they had an option on him. A court later ruled that they didn't have an option on him. Anyways, Campillo had already set up a fight with Shumenov by then.

    Erdei, Pascal, Campillo, Braehmer, Shumenov, Cleverly, Murat, Hopkins, Dawson that I can think of should all be rated above Cloud, making him higher up the list than top 5

    Why not Murat he has a victory over Campillo, 2 fights before Campillo won the world title, yet you can make a case for Campillo :think, Murat has also beaten former WBC SMW champ Sanavia by KO

    Well, IMO, Campillo has two wins over Shumenov and beat Garay. In Murat's only two real wins of note one could easily be scored a draw, Cloud beat Johnson, past best Woods and is the only person to have stopped Gonzalez, granted he was past his best.

    Even if you think Murat only scored a draw against Campillo, its still a good result as Campillo went on to beat Garay, and Shumenov and looked unlucky in the return.
    I dont see much credit in Cloud beating 13 losses 2 draws Johnson who loses most times he steps up

    If you feel he beat Campillo then you have a good reason to rank him higher than Cloud, but I think that he lost vs Cleverly should move him down. I agree with you about ranking all those guys above Cloud other than Murat, and if you had of asked me before he lost, I might even have him above Cloud.
