How can any fan of boxing be PROUD of the way the Mayweather/Ortiz fight ended?

    That **** at worst was FIXED, at best was one of the cheapest shots I've seen in boxing. I thought the Pretty One was going to win the fight, but to win that way was BULL****!!! :smoke

    Not the best ending, but blame ortiz for starting that **** with the most blatant illegal headbutt I have seen in years.

    At least Bradley makes his look accidental.

    exactly. some floyd fans here was actually celebrating and think that the PPV was all worth it never mind that this could probably damage boxing's credibility in the long run.

    No, **** Ortiz was in the wrong... I posted well before the fight that Ortiz wasn't mentally ready to fight Mayweather. He got what he deserved, HE GOT A POINT DEDUCTED. What I was talking about is that Mayweather CAN'T BE PROUD of the way he won, NOBODY CAN!!! To say otherwise is ****ing bull****...!!! :hat

    I wish it didn't end that way...I would have liked a cleaner KO, but...

    1. Was a clear blatant intentional butt

    2. This happened after Ortiz was arguably down ( or the way to being down) 4 rounds to 0

    3. He apologized after the INTENTIONAL butt (wtf is that....it wasn't accidental, it wasn't a mistake...it's not like "Oh man, my bad...didn't mean to catch you like that" He TRIED to smash another boxers face, then say sorry for it.

    4. He apologized, and kissed him...wtf is he kissing another man, the man who he is fighting, the man who he just INTENTIONALLY butted for?

    5. After the point deduction, he again apologized (twice now plus a kiss) for the butt, the one that was not an accident.

    6. He did this in the center of the ring.

    7. He touched gloves with his opponent.


    Ok so, you are now in the center of the ring in a championship fight, you have apologized, you have touched gloves, the ref said "Box!"

    I mean, come on already...it's a prize fight, and all signs were FIGHT at that point...they weren't step back and put your hands in your pockets and look around.

    That's great Doby... I'm glad you got converted... The way it went down reminded me of WWE, when the ret gets distracted and starts counting out the other wrestler because he got hit from a chair from another wrestler.

    Did anybody ask Cortez, "what was the punch that KO'd Ortiz???" It was disgraceful...!!!:nono:nono:hat
