How can any fan of boxing be PROUD of the way the Mayweather/Ortiz fight ended?

Joe Cortez is the one person to blame for all of this. How he can be staring down at ringside while punches are being thrown is nothing short of a joke.

Mayweather had the opportunity to make himself something bigger than he'd ever been...to take a cheap shot from Ortiz, stare him down, let Ortiz hug and kiss himand say "Okay, you're trying to cheat and beat me that way...I'm going show you why I'm 41-0 and beat you down like a real man"...If he did that after the break, he would have gotten a lot more respect from me and I'm pretty sure from everyone else here.

Ortiz certainly deserved a beat down, but not one like that.

Ortiz head butt him in the face on purpose dude. Please wake the **** up. It's not like it was an accident. No rules were broken on Floyd part so all was good on his behalf. If Ortiz had a better corner and more awareness then he would not have got hit. Same **** Gatti did when he got drop in the first round against Floyd. How do you blame Floyd because his opponents are careless?

 

How can he even defend himself when he's not expecting a cowardly move from Floyd? That was a cheapshot. Whether how you spin it, it wouldn't change anything. I don't know how you guys think, and defending Floyd after what he did goes to show how you deal with things in your real life.
