And that proves what?? That quote's from about 2 years ago. Floyd has made it clear since then he doesn't want to fight and he wants nothing to do with Pac. You Floyd fans are living in fantasy land.

    where's this interview from?

funny how when someone posts something to prove floyd is not scared of manny, everyone ignores it because they are so biased.

don't know why people are saying he would KO floyd...impeccable defence and when he got hit flush against mosley who is a harder puncher than pacquiao, he didn't go down because he trains as hard as any fighter out there.

Floyd Mayflower fights a hair under the class of extra special fighters and needs an opponent who is compromised by being older or by not having speed, movement, youth and power in one. If you look at his record you can see how they were choosen using that criteria.

A southpaw with speed and power in both hands that can match the conditioning of Floyd will take him out because May throws too few punches and is open for shots to the side of the face and head with his Philly shell style.

I don't think he would be able to deal with Manny's right hook and lead left and being that he was hurt against lower caliber fighters and when pressured by Castillo in their first fight he really had no answer. He has not added anything to his game since and if anything is a step slower.

Manny is just too much for Floyd. It would be like Castillo 1 but far worse so don't hold your breath it won't happen and not until he can see how Manny looks against Mosley. And if that is the barometer for any hope of the fight happening than don't ever expect it to happen.

Drug test or no test he will never fight the most dangerous guy in his weightclass let alone of the decade.

He would not be able to answer Manny and would have to win by 12 rd decision. It just would not happen and Floyd would get stopped. He would be overwhelmed.

this is so old, we know pac already agreed to the 14 days floyd wanted but floyd change his mind and wanted all the way to the fight. Then he went on vacation and saw pac whoop margarito's ass and now all of a sudden he lost the URGE to fight.:hi:

geez man , look at the last 6 guys manny has fought.

    - david diaz coming off a loss to soto and MD vs frankel who has a record of 27-9.
    - de la hoya who looked weight drained.
    - hatton who got knocked out by floyd.
    - cotto who got knocked out by margarito's plaster of paris wraps.
    - clottey who lost to cotto.
    - margarito who got knocked out by mosley.
    - and now mosley who got dominated by mayweather. they didn't fight him after he knocked out margarito but now all of a sudden, they fight him.

marquez has fought both and said floyd would win. same with ricky hatton and oscar de la hoya. explain that please for those who say manny would knock floyd out.

Ok , so who is he meant to fight?

The above fighters Marg , Clottey and Cotto fight the best , and when that happens they beat each other.

I grew up on 80's boxing when unbeaten records didnt matter , it was who you fought that mattered.

Floyd has simply fought a very specific type of fighter since he moved up to 147. He has seriously slowed and knows that the shots he took from Mosley in the second would come in dozens from Manny.

If Floyd fights again he fights Bradley and its Hatton part two.

Floyd - 147 career highlights only KO was of Hatton in 9 rds

Mosley of longest layoff of his career - looked winded coming into the ring.
    Still wobbled Floyd.

JMM - weight "Pained" payed 600,00 cash by Floyd to fight 2 weightclasses above any he ever fought and for Floyd to have a few pounds extra

Judah - Unconditoned fighter knocked Mayweather down with a tap of a right hook.

Why not fight a real Welterweight not old even if he lost before even Kermit Cintron ? He is too scared and lost a step.

And all 3 of those fighters happen to be under the same promotional banner as Floyd. Honestly, how can you believe Ricky thinks anybody would beat Pacquiao based on their fight? He didn't land a meaningful punch and got the **** beaten out of him worse than he ever has in his life.

:patsch david diaz only loss was to kendall holt before he fought pac and that was over 2 yrs ago before he fought pac.

Delahoya picked manny--why do people keep forgetting this? Oscar was a JR MW 154 lbs and manny was a Lw 135 lbs.

Hatton was undefeated @ 140 lbs and if you want to go back to the threads before the fight you will see many posters here picked hatton to win.

Cotto was on a 2 fight win streak b4 he fought pac
Clottey and margarito only happened cuz of the failed negotiation with floyd.

yea yea yea everybody is picking floyd to beat pac but floyd won't step in the ring with pac and proved it.
