A level headed guy, somebody who is not protected by a promoter, fights great fighters, just a great boxer overall.

i don't hate him but i'm very annoyed that he's not fighting for the first half of this year

fighters have gotten lazy and somebody like him.. i wish we got to see them 4 times a year instead of just 2-3.. it sucks.

and i'm not talking about him last year but I'm talking about him this year because he's stepped into a diff caliber

these top level fighters don't fight enough and it's annoying.

My only gripe was him calling himself Son of God like he has divine protection.

SJS19 TKO 11 Andre Ward and God

    Not sure who hates him?

But he's got talent & has been impressive. He needs to build on that momentum though, being sidelined hasn't helped

Looking forward to seeing him back in the ring soon

I still want to see Ward/ Andre Dirrell

The guy got good power and speed, no doubt. He's a beast offensively. He also got pretty tight defense and he has showed himself able to easily adept to different high-level opponents.

Why am I not a fan, then? Because the guy calls himself "The Son of God". Great boxer, but I (as a Muslim) simply can't be a fan of a man of such blasphemy...

The mentioned "Son Of God" thing just makes me jawn. :-((
It's the way he fought a lot of his fights in ugly and at times illegal style that puts me off... certainly because he doesn't need it to win his fights, he fauls by choice and gets away with it.

He has show against Froch (save the last 2 rounds) that he can outbox the division's top without fauling/spoling/holding etc. So why doesn't he do that when he's back in Oakland?!?

And then there's the obvious duckingjob of Bute and his friends the Dirrell brothers. Is it "humble" to call the IBF champ who many people see as the #2 in the division "not worthy to fight me"... I think that's downright arrogant!

I sure don't hate the guy, but he doesn't behave like a true champion also.

You disagree on his power? He may generally rely more on his speed, but watch his match against Kessler, he certainly had some raw power behind those punches.

I'm a fan! However I was put off by his headbutting against Kessler, he should have been DQ'd, not awarded a TD.

Yeah, headbutting is the bottom, it sucks that he decided to use such measures.

Someone will find any reason to dislike just about any fighter. There is no universally liked fighter. The more success you have, the more exposure you get, the more opportunities you provide for someone to find some reason to dislike you. It comes with the territory.
