How can anyone back Lamont Peterson?

Btw if u guys think that fighters who havent been caught are clean than u guys are really dumb. They are all on some ****. I train in a gym with MMA guys and Boxers and even at ameteur level they are all juicing.

 

most people are made up of common worthless material. there are very few people who are nade up of the good stuff. cheating aint so bad when its someone they like, but if someone cheats against their favorite fighters then they deserve to be covered in honey and tied to an ant hill. it takes a lot to lift yourself out of the mediocrity found in the average person and be consistent in your beliefs even when those beliefs put you in an uncomfortable position. most people arent strong enough to carry that weight and prefer to just change the rules midgame, its much easier to pretend that you never felt differently.

Pretty much this. His cheating was also at a very low level compared to so many other athletes. Likely his doctor and team thought they could slip a low dose of testosterone by. Not saying it's right, but fans can say "he's no ______"

But this case, like so many others, shows you how important it is to build up good will. If he wasn't such a likable guy with such an endearing back story, he would get full venom. He gets the Andy Pettite/David Ortiz treatment instead of the Manny Ramirez/Alex Rodriquez treatment.

 

PEDerson is a cheat. I hope Matthysse knocks him senseless. Lucas KO 10. I believe he will be the first to do it. Tune in tomorrow and we shall see.

I watched PEDerson vs Khan yesterday and even with the ridiculous point deductions i can't see any way Lamont won that fight, i couldn't even score it a draw and him keeping the belt after getting busted and this Matthysse fight being a catchweight is all a ****ing disgrace. There is also no way the Ortiz fight was a draw he lost that too. PEDerson is protected as hell.

 

Pretty much the whole "he was punished, now he's making up for it" thing is good enough for me

Unlike Margarito who smiles about it and treats it like a joke, he admits, apologized, and now openly gets tested so he won't be tempted to do it again...

They are not all cheating, stupid statement. He cheated and it's pretty much the same as Margarito, he altered or enhanced in a way that is against the rules and making himself more able to hurt the other fighter.

Both are illegal in boxing and have probable outcomes of the other fighter being at a disadvantage and more likely to get hurt. Tell yourself what ever you need to so you can like a fighter i guess
