How can anyone back Lamont Peterson?

With all due respect B, I disagree with your opinion. Any kind of edge a fighter gets from taking drugs or using illegal equipment is the same in my eyes. It's not like baseball where using PEDS will help you hit a ball harder, it's guys punching eachother in the head and I don't see how that is any less dangerous then a guy with crusty hand wraps. People are willing to hang Margarito but a guy increasing his speed, power, reflexes (even if it's ever so slightly) is ok?

He is allowed to use that same **** the Drs note worked for him, I cant stand the thought that a commission would not send him to one of their specialist to get a 2nd opinion in the matter.

I just wanna see a good fight tomorrow... Lamont is a cheating **** but alot of fighters have been caught cheating. The list is long.. And yes Steroids are on par with Margaritos wraps.. They werent even hard!!

 

I'm also shocked there wasn't a second opinion. He didn't get caught with steroids from a dealer in a gym, he took a questionable prescription from a board certified doctor.

Why not have another doctor see if the prescription is actually medically necessary?

 

Thats exactly my point considering he pays this Dr for the services that Dr says he needs. Why not make sure this Dr is being truthful..

 

i think everyone should be allowed to whatever. it sounds stupid but they are gonna use anyway and always try to figure ways around it. so there is either gonna be clean vs clean
clean vs dirty or
dirty vs dirty

i dont dislike Peterson for cheating, but i dont like is when they get busted and wont fess up. at the end of the day you cant excpect a cheater to be honest with the truth so thats not shocking but annoying, science dont lie

 

Peterson is alot worse than Margarito, alot worse. I dont believe Margarito knew about the gloves. But he deserved his ban.

Anyone who supports Peterson at this point needs their head checked, one of the most protected fighters out there as a previous poster mentioned, has numerous robberies under his belt, somehow kept his IBF belt, is refusing to fight for it tomorrow. No to mention the fact the guy fought on steroids.

There are plenty of honest boxers out there. **** this guy and his followers, disgrace to the sport.
