Multiple threads have been started labelling Calzaghe's showboating as disgusting. I started rewatching the fight earlier (I'm goint to watch it right through now), I only watched about the first 4 rounds, from what I saw RJJ started all the showboating antics, then was beaten at his own game.
Especially after round 1's knockdown he was showboating like you wouldn't believe! Those guys had respect for each other and the showboating made the 1st 5 rounds great imho.
Joe RJJ'd Roy Jones. There was nothing wrong with his showboating. He was in the zone. It's not like he wasn't getting caught. Jones was sometimes making him pay for it. Jones was doing it himself. It's not like RJJ was helpless. Jones was in great shape, hence the reason he could fight such a hard 12 round fight.
I think it was a bit over the top but I dont think RJJ would complain about it as hes been doing it all of his career
Yeah it was a bit over the top but some of the threads started regarding this have been utterly stupid.
because people are over sensitive homos who apparently didn't have a problem with it when RJJ was in his pomp and doing it on overmatched bums like richard frazier.
